Everything You Need to Know, How to Register: Times, Levels, and Location

Learners are welcome to come to St. Aidan’s Church Community Hall (Elford Place West, off Roundhay Road) on Tuesdays or Thursdays (during term time) between 10-11:30am to do registration.

This involves a short test to check their level, which takes around 30 minutes. If we have a place in a suitable class, learners can start class immediately. If not, they will have to join the waiting list. Registration can be done at any time during term and the only restriction is that learners must be 18+ years old.

We have classes from Pre-Entry (which would be suitable for someone with practically no English) to Upper-Intermediate level and we also offer a limited number of online 1:1 lessons which can be an option for learners who are unable to join a class.

Classes are free with sessions every Tuesday and Thursday from 10am-12pm during ‘term time’ (dates may not exactly match the Leeds Schools academic calendar).

We also have a free creche for learners’ children, but they must be aged between 1-4 years old.
